David Dobrindt
That's me. Handsome, aren't I? And I'm smart. And humble. I am the main contributor to this silly website and do most of the development. I'm between 18-64, was born on the west coast of Africa in Liberia and work for a large company. I am a huge NY Yankee fan which makes life here in Boston a little tough, but considering most Red Sox fans barely made it out of junior high, arguments are usually pretty easy to win. I am also strong as ten men.

Patti Dobrindt
That's Patti, my sweet and caring wife, with Emily, the oldest offspring. For some reason Patti decided she would stay with me, before we were married, as I took a job in Boston. She keeps the household together as well as teaching yoga. While I tend to try to forget the little people running around our house, she corrals them like the herd of caffeine laced cats they are. Life is good with her around.

Emily Rae
This little one is our eldest child. She was born on May 2, 2002, in Boston, MA. All joking aside, there are times when she is being obedient, sweet, kind and loving, listening to every word we say and acting like an angel. The other 95% of the time she is a typical kid. When she is not sleeping, she is in overdrive and things happen, messes get made and it can be very loud.

Ethan David
Oh boy, he's an interesting one. He has a lot of Patti's qualities in that he is very gentle, sweet and kind. But he is also a typical middle child and has a devilish way about him. He was born on Aug 5 2004 in the same hospital as Emily. I forsee trouble with this one.

Emerson James
He is the latest member of the clan. He was born on January 26, 2006 - 18 months after Ethan. Yep, it was an accident. A blessing, but an accident. Either way he is great. He is too young to cause much trouble but with two boys so close in age, that won't last.

Finley the Cat
He's our cat. He will be one in the fall of 2006. He loves me for some reason even though I treat him like a prisoner. And while Patti is nice to him, he attacks her constantly. But he's great with the kids.

Patti and Dave
Here we are. The two of us at the beach. We met through a mutual acquaintance, became friends, started dating and then 4 years later got married. We are both from NY but moved to Boston in 1998 when I got out of grad school. We were married in 1999. Our first child came along in 2002 and it's been pretty much controlled chaos since then. At first we thought we would move back to NY right away but have grown to really love the Boston area. When we think back on the days that we would travel on the weekends, go to dinner, had extra money and plenty of alone time, we look at the three bandits running around our house and try to remember what life was like before them. It's crazy but patience, love and alcohol keep us going.
