The Yanks are in serious trouble.
If there is any doubt in anyone’s mind about Red Sox Nation, all they had to do was watch ESPN Friday night and witness everyone booing Manny Ramirez. Then watch Sat as they chant his name after the game as he walks on the field even though he didn’t play. Then he says “I want to be here” and they cheer him wildly on Sunday. Red Sox Nation, you are a JOKE to me and the rest of the country. And shame on Sox management for even considering getting rid of one of the best hitters in baseball, for considering breaking up the Ortiz-Manny combo, and for NOT pulling the trigger which would have gotten Manny out of the AL East. As a Yankee fan, I was praying all weekend for the trade to go through. Hell, Steinbrenner should have offered up the money just to get him out of Boston.
Red Sox Nation, I know your third grade education level (and not talking about 4th graders) doenot allow you to form a clear and well-laid out thought, but why would you hate him one night and then love him the next. Oh, I know why, because you were drunk. My bad.
