Hello weekend series, I missed you
Well oh well, another weekend Yanks/Sox series. Other than hot August or September weather thrown in, it doesn’t get any better than this. Tonight won’t be anything exceptional with Wakefield pitching, but I wonder how many Yankee players will get plunked by Sox pitchers. While all things point to a Yankee success, the Yanks on a strong roll since May 6, the Sox dropping like a shot duck, I still worry. A three game sweep by either team can happen and we all know it. I just hope Goober Francona sticks with his “gut” and keeps Millar in as long as possible. Hey Goober!! As a Yankee fan, keep Kevin Millar in the game, all innings, all the time. Lately he has become my best friend.
Living in Boston I never get to see Yankee games. I usually carry my wireless broadband laptop around with Gamecast running, but it’s not the same. And I know they offer live broadcasts of the game through a MLB package, but I have yet to try it out. So the only times I get to see the Yanks are rare ESPN games or when they play the Sox. So here’s (me pretending to life my beer) to a great series, may the Sox continue to suck.
