And the democrats get better
Let me get this straight. During the presidential State of the Union address, the democrats refused to show some, a little bit, just an ounce, of respect for the president of the United States and sat on their hands when others applauded. But when the president made a comment about passing a bill, they got up and embarrassed him. They even went so far as to bring Cindy Sheehan, a peace activist and strong anti-Bush activist, to the event. I wonder if an invite went out to Osama Bin Laden to upstage him even more.
Then yesterday at the funeral for Coretta Scott King several speakers took hard shots at the president. This was AFTER he changed his schedule to attend the event. Wonder if a wake for someone like Mrs. King was the appropriate forum for that? Just curious. Could be me but some respect might be in order, if not for Bush then for the dead person at the wake.
Whether you like Bush or not, there is a time and place to try to embarrass him. Classy, real classy. And the democrats wonder why people are moving away from the party and they are losing elections.
