Dobrindts Dot Com

As you probably know my site was down for a while. I had a new site up and running but when people went to www.dobrindts.com, my old site came up. Now that the problem is taken care of, I am pretty back logged with topics. Here are some things that I am going to write about in more detail later on.

The Apprentice

Not sure why I subject myself to this nonsense. This season is terrible. Awful. As soon as some moron started talking about how he was much better than anyone else because he is in Mensa, I knew the show was in trouble. Stay tuned for my write-up, it's not going to be pretty.

American Idol

8 out of the last 10 guys are better than all but one of the remaining girls. It's so lopsided. If a guy does not win, the show is dead to me. No one has come even close to the success of Kelly Clarkson and I think the reason is in how they vote people off. Randy (dude, dog), Paula (you're beautiful) and Simon (If I'm to be honest) need to hire better writers. Taylor Hicks, I hope you win. More to come on this topic.

Name Dropping

I never realized how much this was done until I started my new role. It's like a second language or something. I even began doing it. I now do it at home with my kids. "Hey Emily, I saw the Wiggles on my flight this morning. No, Jeff. The blonde one."

George Bush

This is like a bad blind date that just gets worse. The sad thing is the economy is doing great, unemployment is down and by most historical measures he should be riding a wave of popularity. I have noticed that the media, both print and TV, give him a ton of leeway and freedom to make mistakes. Whenever Bush or one of his top people do something the media waits until all facts are revealed before they blame the White House. It's refreshing to see that unbiased reporting.

Book's I'vve Read

I read probably 3 books a month. I love to read and would read more if I had more time. I am on a string of some pretty good books. More to follow.
