Conference

I presented at a conference earlier today in St. Louis, one that my company sponsored. After I arrived I had an hour to kill before lunch where there was a guest speaker, Bob Hirischfeld, I wanted to hear. Since all of the participants were in classes I was hanging out with the folks who organized it and they said

"Do you want to try the Segway thing, it's right over there."

For those of you who don't know what the Segway is, it's that motorized single person scooter that Dean Kamen invented that was suppose to change the world and pretty much fizzled out. It's still a very cool thing, so I said YOU BET.

It only took a few seconds to figure out how to operate and was fun oh dandy.

Then I listened to a cyber satirist who writes for the Washington Post, pretty funny.

Then I presented, left the conference and flew away.

Just thought I'd share.
