Alex Rodriguez wins 2007 AL MVP
ARod won the 2007 AL MVP today. Ok Loser Nation, let's hear why it should have been David Ortiz or Mike Lowell or Dustin Pedroia or Jason Varitek or Manny Ramirez or Kevin Youkilis or anyone of the other active roster Red Sox since everyone in this myopic town thinks their own athletes regardless (or in true boston fashion I should say irregardless) of how well they really did are far superior than anything else a league has to offer. Oh, I know, the arguement against ARod will go something like this...
"ARod wuhn tha EM-VEE-P...na tha's jus na right...we all know David Ortiz is a bettuh playuh even though his numbas weren't as goo...".
I can't wait to listen to super homer Mike Adams and his nonsense about how any Red Sox player is better than all yankee players. Ugh.
I don't like ARod, but he is the best player in the game and had a monster season.

...another rant by Dave. It is understandable though. Dave needs to work through his thoughts, feelings, and anger towards A-Rod. See? Its happening right before our eyes!!! Dave is starting to accept A-Rod. Even defend him! Nice job, Dave. I knew you would come around.

I thought Manny Ramirez said it best, "I'd rather win the World Series MVP then the regular season MVP."
Hmm, I wonder if he has a point.
A-Rod can get all the regular season stats he wants, when he bats .180 in the playoffs and the Yankees are out of the first round again then you can talk about how he is the MVP.

Today some good news and the first reasonable dollar spent by the Yankees organization since the laughably low Babe Ruth contract. $30 million to erase the stink of Barry Bonds' "record". I never thought I would see myself typing this, but "go for it, Slappy!"
