Goodbye my old friend (the playoffs)
When I said the Yankees had to do something with 25 games left, they went out and went 3 for 2. Not what they needed to do, esp since the Red Sox are not losing games. So with 20 left, www.waswatching.com put it in perspective...

And, if the Red Sox go 8-13 in their remaining 21 games, it won’t matter that the Yankees played .700 ball - because Boston would still finish ahead of the Yankees.
