out of the crib
Well, Ethan has finally done it. He climbed out of the crib today. I brought him up for his nap and within minutes he was at the top of the steps crying. My in-laws were here this weekend helping David while I was a way and the airbed was inflated in Ethan's room close enough to the crib for him to use to get out on. So I moved it away from the crib..out of escape range...rocked him and put him back down. Not 5 minutes later he's out again and banging on the door, I must have closed it a little tighter and he couldn't open it this time. So back up I go. I rock him until I think he is asleep and try to put him back in the crib but he is crying again. I tell him he is OK and go out. The third time is the charm and I guess he has decided to give in and go to sleep because he's quiet and I don't hear him at the stairs or walking around up there. Time for a big boy bed, only 2 months behind Emily.
